Filming (day one)

Image
Today was the first day of filming. Filming can take from little to a lot of time depending on how you really want the outcome of the project to be. It was a very hot and steamy day. Especially since the filming was done outside. But this did not stop us from getting some work done. In class we were sent to go do our filming. The locations of our film were the track and the media center. We got most of the things done. As we went along our storyboard, we first went to the track and figured out how we were going to set up so that the scenes played out. My partner began filming me running off the track and then me walking towards the media center. At the media center my partner continued filming me up the stairs. Today was more of a practice run, and we'll perfect the filming in the next class. Practice makes perfect, so we'll continue to go over the footage we filmed today in class and figure out how to improve it. In our story blog, we used the shots and camera angles. Overal

First Scene- In this scene of the commercial, the person will come from jogging on the track in running shoes towards the media center in a long shot and a tracking shot (camera movement). Second Scene- In the second scene, after the person head towards the media center, they take a seat on the steps of the media center and changes out of the running shoes into the crocs for comfort. Person will have on shorts to look more athletic. The shot for this scene will begin as long shot and transition to showing the persons feet as they change into the crocs. Third Scene- The third scene is the person walking up the media stairs with the crocs. The shot is long shot. Fourth Scene- In the fourth scene, the person sees someone else with the crocs on except their crocs have the charms on there (which are the jibbitz that go on there for decoration) and they acknowledge each other in a two-shot frame (long shot). Fifth Scene- The person with the already decorated crocs will give charms to the pe

Planning

Planning blog Props:  My partner and I decided to do a crocs commercial. Our main prop is crocs shoes. Other props we will include are charms. Costumes:  In our commercial, we will have my partner as the subject. They would wear casual clothes and crocs. Such as a t-shirt and shorts or a t-shirt and jeans. While the other group member is wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants. Crocs are shoes made to make you comfortable and the casual look compliments it. Schedule: On 9/27/21 our group will be working on our storyboard for our 30 second commercial. On 10/1/21 our group will be filming blogs. On 10/7 our group will be editing our blog. On 10/11 our group will be finalizing our commercial. On 10/13 our group will be completing a reflection. Location list:  Our main location is the building seventeen stair case. We would film us walking up and down the stairs. This will show the durability of the crocs. We chose an outside setting to show how crocs can be worn both inside and outdoors. Advert

My group is doing a commercial on Crocs. Typically in a crocs commercial, it shows someone wearing them and doing a physical activity because of the mode change in the crocs.  -They wear the crocs with a casual fit and doing something like walking or jumping around which shows the capability of the crocs. -Sounds in the background can be upbeat to get audience persuaded to want to buy a pair. The crocs slogan is “Come As You Are”. Commercials show a woman or a man wearing crocs which means be who you are in them and it doesn’t matter who you are. Crocs are something for everyone.

I've chosen to work by myself. I rather work by myself than in a group. Working in a group can be difficult. Everyone wants to add their two cents and reinforce their arguments. One person may be eager to impress the teacher by taking up all of the work, while another may prefer to do nothing. There are so many different people expressing opinions when working with several people, there is more likely to be a conflict of opinion. Working alone, on the other hand, removes all of the tension associated with group projects. No one can tell you otherwise, so you must make your own choices. You won't have to worry about competing or lazy peers, and you'll have more time to concentrate and enjoy a more efficient workflow. With fewer distractions, you'll find it easier to focus, work faster, know exactly what's going on, and have a better knowledge of the project or task you're working on. You not only get your way, but you also take complete ownership of any assignme
